Overview: this plan is a three week+ sequence, aimed at Year 2. In the unit, children will explore the natural world and learn about the food chain through a humorous, comic-style fictional mystery. They will learn facts about the minibeasts in the story and explore how minibeasts contribute to the environment. By the end, they will write a fact booklet about a minibeast.
