The SLN Whole School Spelling Scheme uses an investigative approach to engage and challenge children in spelling, offering a variety of strategies so every child can find what works best for them. Closely following the National Curriculum, objectives are sequenced across Year 2 to Year 6, with weekly lesson suggestions and extra practice encouraged beyond spelling sessions. Each year group has an overview page, and every objective is supported by a PowerPoint and differentiated word lists (three or four levels). Statutory Word Lists are integrated where appropriate, alongside additional resources like games, quizzes, and crosswords, many of which can be adapted for other lessons.
