This Year 2 Full Unit Plan on Ice Bear by Nicola Davies is a three-week+ sequence, depending on how long you require in the writing and revision stage, aimed at KS1. In the unit, children will explore facts and rich language to learn about the lives of polar bears. Using embedded grammar foci, they will explore conjunctions and questions and, by the end, be ready to write their own inspiring fact pages.
