This Full Unit Plan on The Rainforest Book is a 3-week sequence, aimed at Year 4. The Rainforest Book is a non-fiction book about rainforests in the form of a non-chronological report. In this unit, children will learn about rainforests and why they are so important. Focusing on the animals that live there, the children will research, take notes and produce their own non-chronological report/information page full of facts about a rainforest animal of their choice.
