Libraries Unlimited is partnering with Aardman to host StoryFest, a week-long reading festival, in Devon & Torbay during October half-term.
The School Literacy Network are creating resources which offer a whole-school writing focus to compliment this fantastic initiative and these will be made freely available via our website. In order to receive notification and instructions on how to access them when they become available, please complete the form below.
The festival begins on October 25th at Exeter Library with live events featuring the Vegetable Orchestra, Shaun Dares Ewe, and special appearances by Shaun the Sheep. Following this, Aardman’s expert model makers will lead three days of clay modelling and animation workshops at Barnstaple, Paignton, and Exeter Libraries.
Additionally, other libraries will offer activities such as screenings of classic Aardman films and the new interactive AR trail, Wallace & Gromit: All Systems Go, available in Exeter, Barnstaple, and Paignton. Further details will be announced closer to the date.
