“If you aren’t using Shared Writing in its different forms to teach writing, then are you really teaching writing?”
Claire Halstead will be offering the latest and best practice in modelling writing in shared and guided writing sessions.
The aim of this training is to give ECTs, Class Teachers and Subject Leaders the opportunity to consider and discuss best practice in the teaching of writing, from EYFS to Year 6.
Course contents will cover:
- What is Shared and Guided Writing and why it is key to the teaching of writing?
- What are the different approaches to Shared and Guided Writing and when to use them?
- Exploring how these approaches should be applied to a sequence of work.
- Gathering top tips and useful strategies to use in the classroom.
This training is will be delivered via Zoom and the materials referenced will be available digitally.
